Cortex Studio ("we", "us", "our") operates Animal Escape: Card Tower Defense (the "Game"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights regarding that data.
Cortex Studio, based in Switzerland, is the data controller for the Game. For any data protection inquiries, contact us at bfl@cortexstudio.dev.
We collect as little data as possible. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any social media information.

We never receive your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.). All payment processing is handled by Google Play or Apple App Store.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your data under the following legal bases:

Your data is processed and stored on servers operated by Google (Firebase) in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred internationally. These transfers are protected by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, ensuring your data receives an adequate level of protection regardless of where it is processed.
The Game may display ads served by Google AdMob. These ads may use your advertising identifier to show relevant content.
In the EEA, personalized ads require your explicit consent. If you decline, you will see non-personalized ads only.
While the Game features animated animal characters, it is designed for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at bfl@cortexstudio.dev and we will promptly delete it.
Game progress data is retained as long as your anonymous account exists. If you uninstall the Game and do not reinstall within 180 days, your anonymous session and associated data may be automatically deleted. Purchase records are retained for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes as required by law.
We use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
